Week 2: The Road to Tier 5
Week 2 brings us to a point crossing from 2013 to 2014. We're also gaining momentum toward our Tier 5 Citadel. Here's the current plan for the road to Tier 5:
- upgrade to tier 4 battlefield
- upgrade to 2nd avatar
- get enough active citadel visitors and cappers to make tier 5 sustainable
- shift gears into tier 5
We should definitely focus on three things:
- always meet upkeep needs first; avoid surplus in useless resources
- upgrading battlefield once i put in the work order in-game
- upgrading avatar (logs and especially precious metal bars)
- upgrade to tier 4 battlefield
- upgrade to 2nd avatar

Re: Week 2: The Road to Tier 5
9 visits so far, with fairly even work being done with respect to the desired upkeep. Once the upkeep needs are met, I may Lock everything and have us focus on making Precious Bars for the 2nd Avatar Habitat
Re: Week 2: The Road to Tier 5
17 visits so far, over 4d4h left in the tick -- encouraging stuff
I have locked up everything except Logs and everything related to Precious Bars, just because they go toward building our 2nd Avatar Habitat
All of the upkeep needs have been met. The Habitat is 27% built. I'm not sure but my guess is that if we get 20+ visits then it will speed up a bit. Nonetheless, we're looking good
In case anyone reads this far, does anyone have input regarding the following:
- upgrading battlefield to tier 4 (it's a but expensive, pretty sure we could handle it)
- upgrading to tier 5 citadel before upgrading the avatar
We could get both done but doing either has slight drawbacks. The battlefield upgrade only takes some resources away from the other goals. The tier 5 citadel upgrade is problematic just because we don't yet have 25+ visits each week. I'd like to see that before moving forward

Re: Week 2: The Road to Tier 5
20 visits
probably about 20h left
33% to 2nd avatar at last check
this is good but we can do better. if we keep skimming it we will be changing up the dynamics of capping for tier 5 so we can fluorish.

Re: Week 2: The Road to Tier 5
I'll peak @ "Cap for CPs" this afternoon/evening to catch up for the tick switch tonight. Hopefully we had enough visits (unsure if 20 or 21 is the minimum) to maximize efficiency. It was a solid week of progress but we will need at least 5 more citadel visitors on average in order to make good progress @ tier 5. I'll probably put in for work on the tier 5 stronghold this week or next week, but I'm "nervous" about it because we have never had a week where we could maximize efficiency at tier 5. Currely, we could move up to tier 5 on a good week but we couldn't move to tier 6 without at least 5+ visits above our better efforts so far.
Recruiting and changes to citadel operations shoudl sort out the issue by the end of the month--stay tuned. For those who cap pretty regularly, there's not going to be any issue
