Rules and Policies

Please read and follow the rules below. All clan members are expected to respect and abide by these rules and any rules set by Runescape. Failure to adhere to these rules could result in expulsion from the Clan or other consequences.

1. All rules apply equally to playing Runescape, using this forum, using our ventrilo server and anyone who uses d2jsp on the side; additionally, d2jsp rules and policies will apply to our d2jsp-affiliated members.

2. No scamming.

3. No flaming or insulting clan-mates. We expect everyone to treat non-members just as we treat our own.

4. No porn or sexually explicit material.

5. No keyloggers, binaries, hacks, 3rd party programs (including bots), scripts, or anything else that could create a security concern for the accounts of any member, including yourself.

6. No piracy or other infringements of private property, whether intellectual or otherwise.

7. No illegal trades (no account trades, etc).

8. Respect the rank structure; it is arranged hierarchically so that lower-ranked members should not argue with higher-ranked members; additionally, please report any abuses of "authority" or disputes of any kind to me, ideally with a screenshot.

9. No begging for items or GP!

10. Clan Chat Protocol:

- Generals and above may use @ symbols to make announcements to the entire clan.

Examples:

@@ Dung group starting in 20 minutes @@
@@@@@@@ Please cap if you did not cap yet, the Build Tick ends tomorrow!!@@@@@@@

- Please DO NOT interrupt these messages. People can use @ symbols to communicate in the chat but please do not spam or make false announcements.

11. Some extra rules:

- do not discuss drugs or conduct illegal discussions of any kind
- do not discuss anything under rule/policy 5.

We are anti-censorship but we need to guard against rule-breaking and law-breaking.

- along with 4., sexual or other harassment or bullying is strictly prohibited. Racism, sexism and other discriminatory practices are major violations of our environment.

In case you find yourself able to Edit or Delete the posts (or topics) of other users, avoiding doing it unless:

- you are a Senior Moderator Editing a post of someone in a Rank below Senior Moderator.

It can be cute/funny but it can also be a HUGE problem. For now it's a "known issue" that I want to address. When I can solve it through permissions, the permissions will be removed
