Weather Empty Weather

Post by Admin Mon Jan 06, 2014 2:50 pm

If you like Blizzards and an Antarctic lifestyle, you'll love it outside where I live. It's about -17 (C), but made worse by wind. The wind is ripping here and visibility is variable but at about 30 feet (for vehicles with headlights). The snow on the roads is fairly bad. I just got back from work and I don't look forward to returning for a shift tomorrow night if the current conditions hold up. I guess I could take a pic but all you'd see is white Very Happy

I'll stick with my +5c and not even a flake of snow so far this year (crosses fingers). Lol

Welcome to New Zealand.
Here you can expect lows in the harshest winter of 10 degrees (c) and highs during the most blistering summer of 30 degrees (c).
Enjoy being able to wear T-shirts and shorts all year 'round and get used to living in the glorious sun.

We got a nasty cold front here in Denmark over night out of nowhere during the night (which I didn't know about). So did my usual thing this morning and left the house @ about 6:30 and god damn it was like -7 or something?

And I was dressed for the usual +5. GG

Aaaand about an hour after I got home today it started snowing, RIP "warm" weather.  Crying or Very sad

Coldest day I saw this year was about -53 here in western Canada, and ya it gets pretty windy too since you can see for miles here in SK haha.
