This topic will contain a template in post #3. The list will help us "track" who has visited and capped each week. The list may not be complete for a while.


Admin+/Moderator+: please post if you have confirmed someone to have capped or visted. Please make a note if you did not see it via Clan -> Show options

The purpose of this topic is to communicate and track information related to people capping at the citadel. A list will be created for each week, and by default it will say that members of the clan did not cap; this only changes once we're fairly sure someone capped.

Uses of this topic:

- track your own progress
- know who has not capped and ask that person to cap (let's not be too pushy; if someone doesn't want to cap, eventually he or she will face demotion or removal)
- a way to get people to communicate more through the "Cap for CPs" topic
- a way to make the Citadel and the clan more active

It should only affect people who are not online (on RS) and who therefore aren't capping or visiting the Citadel. There are some exceptions but we will likely lose 20-30 member sin the initial sweep.

@ Matt: thanks for posting those. Im Mediocre said he would visit and cap (he still has a few hours); I have not seen Dramatix & Readie lately.

We shed a few pounds (around 25 members) today due in part to the success of Cap Watch -- we have identified those who do not cap or visits the Citadel, as well as those who are not active within the clan. This helps keep us clean and sleek, and it is a fair measure for those who contribute on a regular basis.

We want to reward contributions, and we want to encourage inactive members to visit and cap at the Citadel. We have been planning our first major pruning (of inactive members) for months, so everyone had the opportunity to get involved. We will continue the Cap Watch -- we are still watching a few people VERY closely.

Capped today, last but not least

Did a little of everything, mostly cut timber though.

It looks to me like she was listed twice on the week 5 list, once as GrannySmith and once as Koire.

sweet i am pretty sure meg capped last week. it is tricky, i generally just go by the "cap for cps" topic so i miss a few every week :O

i will fix these later, once i can see who visits and capped (fealty check, ppl letting me know, etc)

Dramatix DIY is fealty 3 and says he capped last week. You only have to about half-cap to maintain fealty, but this means he's definitely been doing more than we've been accounting for (this thread doesn't record him visiting since week 4). Also, he says he "rejoined rs" yesterday (and started by capping at the tail end of last week).

Thanks Jake I am glad to see this. Dramatix DIY must have been making contributions while he was mostly on OSRS, which is actually quite commendable.

E: I will fix him to "green" next week if he caps again; officially, we can count his previous reds or oranges as greens or at least oranges.

I've been aware of your military obligations and so long as you want to be around and have some active moments at times, the absences from RS will not be an issue at all
It's a special situation.

Wall o' text [aside]:

To be completely honest I might be a bit less "understanding" for other types of jobs that take people away from RS, but of course work/RL is always #1. To me, military/medical/clergy type of work is to some degree devotional or "big picture" service-oriented, and regardless of whether it's an "enemy" country or a religion that most of the clan doesn't follow or whatever, I am neutral about it and I am supporting the dedication and level of belief required to carry out the work. I'm fine if people are busy and want to be part of the clan, but I'm especially supportive if it's a big picture thing. Everyone is equal and it is just a matter of circumstance and I happen to privilege people working or volunteering in those circumstances.

Why I feel that way requires a whole different wall of text that probably isn't worth reading

I am not discontinuing "Cap Watch", but I am not indicating this week's records.

Any Admin+ may start this up again, or I may pick it up again later. The onus is on members to post that they capped in "Cap for CPs" to receive due credit. Trends can still be observed, so those who do not consistently cap can still be understood not to cap -- based on continuing observation.
