Update discussion - The bird and the beast edition

I'm mixed on this one. Last time I went with Sara, but this time I'm split. I like Bandos but I agree that Arma will probably take it. Most likely I'll swap sides just to win (if I need to do it).

Any idea of the start date? And is it in Fally?

I sided with Zamorak last battle; can't help but join a losing side. However, this time Jagex is making that difficult: I dislike goblins too much irl to side with Bandos.

Any info on what part divination plays? Can you donate energy to your faction convoys? All that I could gather so far is that Armadyl officer at the top floor of the tower says "This information is reserved for higher ranks" when asked about divination.

No hat luck here after several attempts. Apparently the odds are around 1:10,000.
ofc the GE may have spawned thousands of them before they arrived via crackers, so maybe they aren't as rare as we may think.

On another note: what kind of bonuses are there for the Faction Token as you move up? I know there were minor boosts from the Saradomist Token from the first World Event, so I am curious about the new ones. It may provide some incentive for me to actually partake; apart from the Festive Challenge of collecting 10,000 Renown from World Event 2.

The renown and sacred metal fragments gathered can be spent on various rewards, such as 6 components of the Warpriest armour, 4 weapon overrides, 3 emotes, 4 titles, and 3 abilities. Higher tier rewards are unlocked as the event progresses, with each tier being unlocked after a certain amount of phases, which last 5 days each. Tier 1 is unlocked automatically, Tier 2 will unlock during phase 3 (or after 10 days), and Tier 3 will unlock during phase 5 (or after 20 days).[1]
To buy all rewards from one faction (except those obtained by random), including abilities, players would require 721,000 renown. To buy all rewards from both factions, players would require a minimum of 1,164,000 renown.

Players wishing to obtain all rewards from this event may want to consider focusing on the emotes and titles, instead of the abilities and Warpriest armour. The Warpriest armour will be available again after the event as drops in the God Wars Dungeon[2], and the abilities will be a very rare drop from defeating the General Graador and Kree'arra, God Wars Dungeon bosses for the respective factions[3].
